The Lana'i Art Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing art and cultural experiences for residents and visitors on Lana'i through ongoing classes, workshops, studio access, our gallery and exhibitions.
Our offerings include the fine arts such as drawing and painting; practical arts and crafts such as fiber and fabric arts; children’s arts and craft instruction; writing, photography, digital arts, ceramics, woodworking, pottery and traditional Hawaiian crafts. Classes, workshops and presentations include all age levels, educational background and expertise. Private lessons are also available. All offerings are dependent on instructor availability. Click on our logo to visit our web site for a current list of offerings. You can also email us at lap@wave.hicv.net or call 808-565-7503 for detailed information.
We provide resident artists with a warm, professional space in which to market their work through our newly remodeled gallery, expanding the limited economic opportunities on Lana'i. We feature work from over 20 talented Lana'i artists. Our gallery also stocks a great selection of basic art supplies and materials, all at prices competitive with on-line merchants and mainland retail art supply stores. Be sure to treat yourself to a visit in the gallery when you're on Lana'i!
